Pirna has many faces and our Pension Donatus captures the special character of the town.


Our charming guesthouse is located right in the heart of Pirna's beautiful old town in a historic and lovingly restored building from the 16th century. In our house you will not only feel the history of Pirna, but also actively participate in the exciting and colourful hustle and bustle of the city.


It is thanks to the vicar of Putzkau, Donatus Lange, who owned the house from around 1556 to around 1562, that our guests can enjoy their regional and hearty breakfast in a room with historic wooden beamed ceilings.

With its unique combination of historical flair and modern comfort, our guesthouse is the ideal starting point for your adventures. With our central location, cosy rooms and personal service, we would like to offer you a stay that is as individual and special as our house.     After a restful night, the best way to start your day is with our regional breakfast buffet. From 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. we await you in the breakfast room of our guesthouse and ensure a relaxed and invigorating start to your day.
  • Guest card
    With the mobile guest card, which we give you at check-in, you receive discounts at over 60 leisure facilities in the region and can also use local public transport completely free of charge throughout your vacation.
  • Baby crib
    You are welcome to book baby equipment for a one-off charge of 15 euros in advance. Attention: limited availability!
  • Fruit basket
    Fresh fruit from our region - on arrival or in your room after your hiking day? You can order this from us before your arrival or you can order it on site.
  • Picknick basket
    Are you planning an excursion into nature? We will give you a picnic basket for 2 or 4 people. Heartily filled and with everything you need for a relaxing trip outdoors.
  • Lunch package
    For early risers, hikers or late risers. In other words, for those who don't fancy a breakfast buffet.
  • Wine
    We are happy to provide you with a bottle of regional wine in your room on request!
